We depart in the direction of the University passing the South African presidential residence.
Following the Eastern side of the peninsula the coastal road offers great opportunities to sight Whales particularly between May and October each year.
Our first stop is to view the Penguin Colony at Boulders Rocks.
Thereafter we continue onto the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve where guides have the opportunity to see endemic and rare antelope species such as Eland, Bontebok and Mountain Zebra. Along with also seeing Ostrich guests might also get a glance of an elusive cape cobra or puff adder along the road.
Based on availability, Lunch (at own account +-R150) will be had at either the Reserve Restaurant or alternatively at the Hub or Food Barn in Scarborough. All of the restaurants offering quality menus with quintessential cape ambience.
Before departing the Cape of Good Hope guests will board the Funicular up to the look out point and then have a photo opportunity on the South Western most tip of Africa.
Departing the Reserve guests will then head past the Cape Point Ostrich Farm onto Scarborough following the incredibly scenic coastal road with views of Kommetjie, the Sentinel, Hout Bay, Chapman’s Peak and finally the back of Table Mountain.
Stopping to visit Seal Island guests will also visit the shop for souvenirs at the craft market in the harbor.
Making your way back to your hotel we will pass the beautiful the 12 Apostles Peaks
And pass through the trendy suburbs of Camps Bay and the pristine beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay.
An optional stop in the day will be at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens (own account +/- R90).

Kindly note that we cannot guarantee any specific animal sightings within the Cape of Good Hope Reserve. These are wild animals in their natural habitat. This also applies to the Penguins and Ostriches. Your guide will however share his knowledge with you in the regard and offer the best possible photographic opportunities.
Safaria reserves the right to terminate any tour services based on poor behavior and conduct that causes public disturbance.
Entrance fees charged by third party service providers may differ for children under the age of 12 years. In order to qualify for children’s rates (when children’s rates are available), the child must be accompanied on the tour by 2 adults.
